Dr. Donna Simonian completed a residency in pediatrics and vision therapy at the Southern California College of Optometry. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry and holds a BS in psychology and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego.

She specializes in pediatric care including evaluating and treating special populations such those on the autism spectrum, those with learning disabilities who are struggling with academics, treating adults and children with strabismus and amblyopia (lazy eye), eye tracking concerns and the fitting of pediatric contact lenses. She also has special training in the area of neuro-optometry for examination and treatment of adults and children recovering form a stroke or traumatic brain injury.

Dr. Simonian is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the College of Optometry in Vision Development, and the NH Optometric Association. She is a co-author of a study published in 2007 Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science Journal entitled: "Variation of Vertical Fusional Vergence Amplitude with Horizontal Vergence". She was a clinical instructor a the Southern California College of Optometry in the area of pediatrics and vision therapy.
